My review of Absolute Boyfriend

Waaaaaaaaaaa! This Japanese series that came from a manga story is really really good. It made me fall in love both with Night-kun and Soushi. <3 Promise. This was actually recommended to me by a friend because he also watched this personally and he's been boasting that he wants to imitate Night-kun's hair. Well, yeah, Night-kun's hair is cute, it's not moving with the wind.. Haha! That's not normal. But, Night-kun, who is Mokomichi Hayami in real life, is the ideal boyfriend of every girl. I mean, even me, I want him as my ideal boyfriend. It's just that, the ending for me is all too good. Before I watched the last part of the final episode I paused for a CR break then said to myself, "Hmmm, it's not right that Riko will grow old with Night-kun because he's a robot." Then, I realized when I watched the full final episode that, still, Night's love for Riko was undeniably unwavering. c: He let Riko be happy with her dream and decided to let Soushi take care of her. I actually fell in love with Soushi but in the first parts of the series, I feel pity for Night-kun when Riko is not being very appreciative of his presence, and even if he's a robot, I feel the hurt and confusion that he feels inside. T__T Daa! Daa! Daa! Wake me up please! I'm too much in to this series.. T___T I liked Soushi because of his eyes. Really nice eyes. see here..

Dang! I just love his simple smile and very pretty eyes. *right now, I can't think of any adjective that can describe his eyes* sorry. Though, in the series, I am kind of disturbed by his hair because it's all messed up. :(

Night-kun, at first, when all of his programmings are just for a plain robot, he always says to Riko, "I love you Riko, let's have sex!" Haha! Because he was programmed to be a little horny, *of Riko's choice, of course!* and Riko will say, "Let's definitely not!" Hehe. Anyway, in the story, nothing happened to them. :D

The end is really sad, especially when Night met his creator to bid him goodbye and admitted that his main IC chip will be going down already. And he left it as a memory for Riko-san to remember. Though, in real life, I don't want to that to happen to me, I want an ideal BF but I don't want him to be a robot because it will be like just another electrical appliance that needs repair and maintenance. Still, my ideal BF will be a combination of Night-kun and Soushi. :D

Anyway, I do recommend that those who are inlove ,or even NOT!, please watch it! It's a must for every heart. Give your heart some exercise because you'll fall in love in this Japanese drama. c: I'll definitely watch it again! Just to see Soushi and the sexy Night-kun.

~*YOW.. EMBASSY..*~

Love the place..
Located @ the heart of Global City, the Fort in Taguig in between Makati, Alabang and Pasig City, next to the High Street, Serendra and Market! Market!

Dress to impress friends, this is a classy joint and style dress code is in effect! :D

Went there with my friends, but I wasn't ready so..... I wasn't dressed properly, and I regretted it! :( I wish I just wore my skirt. Anyway, my next time will be the very memorable one.. *hope so* That Saturday night was kind of rockin' but it was so full of people partying all night. And that is one club that I get the chills.. Really cold airconditioning. :D

And mind you that you need to have wheels when you go there! Girls, dont wear pants, guys, dont wear shorts! OK?

You have 2 options when you get there.. There are 2 partying rooms. The 1st is the techno room and the other one is RNB. Get 3 drinks with the entrance ticket. :) And they are open till 3 am only. So that's why you need to have a ride. If you don't, hook up with somebody who has one! :D

Try to visit http://www.embassyclub.ph/index2.shtml for more information about Embassy super club.. And do pm me if you're interested to go there wit' me anytime. *wink*

Ang SANTOL!

Have you come across this exotic question?

  • Ano sa ENGLISH ang SANTOL?
  • Eh sa FRENCH?
- - N O S E B L E E D   D I B A ! ! ! - -
Usually we call it santol fruit. But it is inappropriate because it is a combination of the filipino and the english language. Well before I give you the answer, let us know something about the yummy fruit first.
The santol (Sandoricum koetjape, syn. S. indicum and S. nervosum) is a tropical fruit grown in southeast Asia. The Santol is believed native to former Indochina and Peninsular Malaysia, and to have been introduced into IndiaBorneoIndonesia, the Moluccas, Mauritius, and the Philippines where it has become naturalized. It is commonly cultivated throughout these regions and the fruits are seasonally abundant in the local markets.
AND THE ANSWER IS:
  • ENGLISH: Wild Mangosteen
  • FRENCH: Faux Mangoustanier

~* where did they all go?? *~

Earlier yesterday, I wasn't able to go to work 'cuz it's pourin' very hard outside. So I stayed home like what my mom advised me to do. When I woke up the next morning, I suddenly heard the song "Take on me" revived by A1 in the 2002 I think.. I have their first 2 albums, original and signed by them when they visited in 2002 at Megamall.

That was when I feel like listening to their songs again. When I was singing with their songs, hmmmm, I suddenly asked my self, by the way, where are this guys now? Are they still in the music industry? Do they still compose and launch albums? How do they look now?

I remember back in 2nd year highschool, my barkada was still complete then, Cristalyne and Krystel we're still with us, we were so crazy over this boyband, including Westlife. As in super gaga over them, that's why when we learned that A1 will be at megamall on March 9, 2002, we rushed in, luckily, it was the time for our periodic exams so we have to stay in school up until noon only, the Mall tour is 2pm. :D there were so many people! Might have been over a thousand.

They performed a couple of songs including 'Forever In Love' and 'Summertime' both from their first album and 'No More' and 'Same Old Brand New You' from the A-List album. I was so infatuated with Ben Adams back then because he's the cutest, and I can say most of the fans are. He's on lead vocals, Mark Read was the most charming, Paul Marazzi is the petite one with the most beautiful yet tiny voice and Christian Ingebrigsten is the hottie blondie. We took pictures of them and only got Mark to look in the camera. :( anyway, Ben was beside him. :D so we also have our albums signed. And on my way home, I bought a couple of posters of them..

Anyway, now I remembered, I tried to check out for some news about them, I found Ben's site on Google, check this http://www.benadams.uk.com. Paul Marazzi was actually the first one who left the band and after he left, the band split up. Ben and Christian, as I have read, we're still together at times. Mark Read is now producing and writing songs for a couple of solo singers in Hollywood.

So, that's where they are actually all right now. My questions, fin'lly answered. :D I can sleep now.

EHEADS Reunion Concert [just my thoughts..]

I was reading one of the blogs of an e-heads fan..

And I have to agree.. You almost missed half of your life if hindi kayo nagpunta sa reunion concert. Damn, the best talaga si Ely. And there was a comment on her blog, there's youtube. Hmmm.. I may agree that a quarter lang hindi half, but still, the feeling of singing their songs live together with Ely and just loving Raimund beating those drums? OMG, that's heaven. And just the thought of you are just a couple of meters away from the real thing. It's an open ground thing and I admit, I've never felt the pain in my feet ever before from standing for hours but I don't mind. I can see before my eyes, the band who started all OPM bands.

Divided into 3 un open field, VIP, Patron at Gen. Admission.

Biglang nabuhay ang audience at tuwing bababa ng 1minute ung timer, they scream in excitement.

It was now down to 10, 9, 8 ... 2 , 1. Dumilim. At c Raimund! Na naka-Nike na shirt at green hair with Buddy and Marcus.

At Ligaya. "They try to tell us we're too old.." Hahaha.

We sang along to Sembreak, Hey Jay, Toyang, Kailan, Harana, Huwag Mo Nang Itanong, Huwag Kang Matakot, Kamasupra, With a Smile, Shake Yer Head, Kaliwete, Fruitcake, and Lightyears.

...

And the sad part, after they had sang Lightyears, napaupo c Ely sa stage, I dont know if that was a part of the concert or not, but what happened is that, they all took a 20-minute break. And the countdown timer started. I was craving for a bottle of water but I can't lose my position in the field, so I hang on.

But it's already passed 30minutes and yet they are not back on stage. Then, I saw Buddy and Raimund and Marco and a lady, whom Buddy introduced as Ely's sister Lally who delivered the audience what has to be known. They had to cut the concert short because of Ely's condition. Nobody in the audience had any violent reactions. All we did was pray for Ely's health.

Like what they all said, it maybe short and played only half of their intended playlist but it is so worth it. I may not be able to hear my favorite song, Ang Huling El Bimbo, but from what I heard after 2 days, there will be a next time and I will surely not miss it.

I can still hear all of those people beside us screaming "group hug", "usap naman" and "bati na kayo" in between songs.. And I am looking forward to hearing it again. :)
